Forty parishioners from Sacred Heart parish, East Glendale, were led by Father Marcin Chilczuk, administrator, on a pilgrimage to the Jubilee Year of Mercy Holy Doors at two churches: Regina Pacis Basilica, Bensonhurst, and St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral, Prospect Heights. While at Regina Pacis, left, the group prayed during Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Father Chilczuk preached the homily. The pilgrims renewed their baptismal promises and prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet. They then traveled by charter bus to St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral, right, to pass through the Holy Doors and hear about the history of the church.
