Christ is Risen Easter Art Contest 2022

The winners will be notified soon. The awards ceremony is May 2, 2022.


The Tablet, in collaboration with the Archbishop John Hughes Council of the Knights of Columbus, invites youth to express their faith through art by participating in this year’s DIGITAL Easter art contest. The theme is Christ is Risen.

Entry Rules:

This is a digital art contest. We are not accepting physical artwork in The Tablet office. There are no restrictions on size or art medium; artwork must be in physical form. No video, audio, or photocopy will be accepted. Contestants must fill out the form below and submit one photo of their entry.

Submissions:

Only one original photo of artwork per entry. The photo must be submitted online using the form below. Any artwork submitted online after the April 24 deadline will not be accepted.

Entries must include:

Using the form below, make sure your entry includes your name, grade, school or parish, contact phone number, return mailing address (phone numbers and addresses will not be published).

Judging and Prizes: 

Based on adherence to theme: Christ is Risen, originality of work and demonstration of artistic ability. Winners will be contacted personally by a Tablet staff member. Winners will also receive cash prizes, certificates and have their works published in The Tablet.

Eligibility:

Students in grades 1 to 12, residing in Brooklyn or Queens.

Deadline:

Sunday, April 24, 2022

Awards Ceremony:

Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at 1305 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11228.
