St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, Honors Program and Campus Ministry, in partnership with Our Lady of Peace parish, Brooklyn, will conduct a blessing of the Gowanus Canal on Earth Day, April 22, at noon by the Carroll Street Bridge (between Nevins and Bond Sts.) The occasion also will celebrate Pope Francis’s encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si’.
