Very Rev. Brian P. Dowd, from pastor of Queen of Angels, Sunnyside, and from dean of Queens Deanery 2 to pastor of St. Patrick, Bay Ridge, effective June 30.

Rev. Ambiorix de Jesús Osorio, from parochial vicar of St. Sebastian, Woodside, to pastor of Queen of Angels, Sunnyside, while remaining coordinator of ministry to Dominican Republic Immigrants, effective June 30.

Rev. Jose B. Diaz, from parochial vicar of St. Leo, Corona, to pastor of Mary’s Nativity – St. Ann, Flushing, while remaining chaplain of Christ the King Regional High School, Middle Village, effective June 30.

Rev. John W. Gouldrick, C.M., from campus ministry at St. John’s University, Jamaica, to leave the Diocese of Brooklyn, to ministry with order in Philadelphia, PA, effective Jan. 1.

Rev. John J. Cooney, C.P., from parochial vicar of Immaculate Conception, Jamaica, to retired status and residence at the Immaculate Conception Monastery, Jamaica, effective March 1.

SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT

Most Rev. Witold Mroziewski, to temporary territorial episcopal vicar for Queens, while remaining pastor of Holy Cross, Maspeth, vicar for migrant and ethnic apostolates, and auxiliary bishop of Brooklyn effective April 7.

Rev. James A. Kuroly, to director of Youth and Young Adult ministry for the Diocese of Brooklyn, while remaining rector/president of Cathedral Preparatory Seminary, Elmhurst, and spiritual director of the Jornada Movement, effective June 1.
