Rev. Frederick Anawonah, from temporary residence at Christ the King, Springfield Gardens, while helping with the celebration of Mass at St. Bonaventure – St. Benedict the Moor, Jamaica, to parochial vicar of Good Shepherd, and Resurrection, Brooklyn, effective June 30. 

Rev. Hector A. Restrepo, from parochial vicar of St. Agatha, Sunset Park, to ministry in the Diocese of Tucson, effective June 4. 

Rev. Paul Agbodza, from parochial vicar of St. Matthew, Crown Heights, to return to ministry in his home diocese in Ghana, effective Sept. 30.


Rev. Rogie V. Castellano, C.P., from residence at the Passionists Monastery, Jamaica, while taking classes at Fordham University, to return to ministry in the Philippines, effective July 1, 2022. 

Rev. Kangqiang Lu, C.Ss.R., from ministry and residence at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Sunset Park, to leave the Diocese of Brooklyn, effective July 13. 

Rev. Andrzej Wasko, S.D.S., from parochial vicar of Our Lady of Consolation, Williamsburg, to ministry with his order in New Jersey, effective July 1.

Deacon John Cantirino, to coordinator of the diaconate formation program, while remaining deacon of Immaculate Heart of Mary, Kensington, effective June 30. 

Deacon Gregory Kandra, from deacon of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Forest Hills, to released from diocesan assignment, to move to Orlando, Florida, effective June 30. 

Deacon Paul P. Morin, to move to Orlando, Florida, while remaining in retired status, effective Aug. 23. 

Deacon Laurence O. McMaster, from residence and ministry in Newark, to residence and ministry in Georgia, Diocese of Savannah, while remaining released from diocesan assignment, effective July 1.


A Diocesan Assignment Posting in The Tablet published on Saturday, July 29, 2023, incorrectly listed the date of the appointment of the Reverend Prince Horsu to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dyker Heights. The correct date of the assignment is October 1, 2023.
