Daniel Diaz, of Our Lady of Sorrows parish, Corona, was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. He and his wife, Anabel, have been married for 16 years and they have two daughters.

He works in maintenance and is active in his parish as an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, catechist and as a member of the vocation committee.

A Mass of thanksgiving will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows on Sunday, May 24, at 3 p.m.
