Chiarelli’s Religious Goods Now Open in New Hyde Park

For over 78 years, Chiarelli’s Religious Goods has been serving the wants and needs of the religious community.

Established in 1938, Chiarelli’s is a fourth-generation, family-owned business that has served the religious community and public. Nicholas Chiarelli opened his first store in Brooklyn, N.Y. What started out as a barbershop and stamp-trading store, soon became a place to purchase rosary beads and religious statues.Nicholas’ son, John, then joined his father and expanded the business into the largest and most respected ecclesiastic religious goods store and showroom on the East Coast. The original storefront business in Brooklyn has expanded into a beautiful showroom now located in New Hyde Park.

This expansion includes servicing parishes in all five boroughs, as well as Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey. Chiarelli’s expansion enabled the company to start shipping packages all across the country. The company has built its reputation on family values, honesty and loyalty to customers.

Currently, John Senior’s son, John Michael Chiarelli, oversees the day-to-day operations at the New Hyde Park storefront.

John Michael, now with his two sons Francis and John Anthony, has taken a hands on approach and is responsible for implementing the many innovative services that are being offered such as church renovations and restorations, custom statuary and memorial donor walls. There is no project too small or too large. Chiarelli’s can make all of your visions for your parish a reality.

Chiarelli’s supplies parishes both in the U.S. and internationally, so if there is a special order, call for further details. The staff is always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The employees are extremely dedicated to their positions. All representatives are ready to answer any questions and assist with an order.

So whether you shop online, via mail, by fax, phone order or just wish to stop by and pay a visit to the New Hyde Park location, you’ll quickly discover that there is no better place to shop for religious items than Chiarelli’s.
