The Cathedral Seminary House of Formation presented its annual Evening of Lessons and Carols Concert at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston, Dec. 3. About 300 friends and family filled the main chapel to hear seven Scripture readings, or lessons, with each one followed by a religious song for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Under the direction of Lisa Kelly, members of the seminary were joined by the choir from Our Lady of the Snows parish, North Floral Park, singing hymns in Latin, English, French and Spanish.
