Former Holy Cross H.S., Flushing, football standout Dean Marlowe has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers following last weekend’s NFL Draft.

Marlowe was a two-year starter for the Knights as quarterback and defensive back but settled into a role as free safety for James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va.

He will look to make the Panthers’ 53-man roster as a defensive back.
