Captain Timothy Stackpole Memorial Award

Presented in memory of FDNY Captain Timothy Stackpole, who was an inspiration to his fellow firefighters when he returned to active duty after a long and painful recovery from third-degree burns that he suffered in the line of duty. After that return to duty, Capt. Stackpole was one of the 343 fallen Bravest on Sept. 11, 2001.
