Bishop Loughlin Memorial HS: A Brooklyn Institution Since 1851

Bishop Loughlin Memorial H.S. is located in historic Fort Greene/Clinton Hill along with the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Pratt Institute, LIU Brooklyn and St. Joseph’s College.

Loughlin is an exceptional, private, Catholic college preparatory high school providing opportunities for each student to reach his or her potential. Each year, 99 percent of seniors graduate, and at least 97 percent attend the college of their choice.

The Class of 2017 received more than $15,000,000 in scholarships and now attend schools such as NYU, Columbia University, Colgate University, Babson College, Cornell University, Fordham University, Morehouse College and Manhattan College.

Always looking for new ways to grow, the high school recently launched PLTW @ Loughlin, which is one of the finest STEM programs in Brooklyn. More than 200 students are enrolled in engineering or biomedical science courses this year. Students who participate will be challenged and well prepared for college science and engineering courses. Loughlin also offers nine AP Honors courses as part of its rigorous curriculum.
