Bishop DiMarzio Meets Catechumens

Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio prayed with 466 adults preparing to receive their sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation on the Easter Vigil, April 20. The bishop met with the catechumens in the auditorium of the former Bishop Ford H.S., Park Slope, March 10 for their Rite of Election. More than 1,000 people throughout the diocese will receive at least one sacrament of initiation during the Easter Vigil to fully join the Catholic Church.
