Bishop Thomas V. Daily

Bishop Daily Pro-Life Leader

Shortly after Bishop Thomas V. Daily was appointed to the Diocese of Brooklyn, he encouraged Msgr. Phillip Reilly and the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants to pray at the places where abortions are performed and to offer help to the women who were considering aborting their babies.  Above, he leads a contingent of the Sisters of Life during one of those prayer rallies.  Below, he is joined by Msgr. Charles Boccio and the late Msgr. (later Bishop) Vincent D. Breen at the site of another prayer meeting. Those prayer vigils begun more than 25 years ago continue today with Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio and the auxiliary bishops still praying at the monthly gatherings.
