Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio visited Catholic Charities’ SS. Joachim and Anne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Coney Island to rededicate its chapel with a new altar that was donated from St. Catharine of Alexandria’s lower church in Borough Park.  He also blessed a new statue of the Blessed Mother in the outdoor prayer garden in memory of the late chaplain, Father Walter Mitchell. He welcomed the home’s new chaplain, Father Michael Onekwere, and the new administrator, Lisa Schiano, and Msgr. Alfred LoPinto, vicar for Human Services.
