Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio placed ashes on the heads of dozens  of Massgoers during the noon Mass at St. James Cathedral-Basilica in Downtown Brooklyn, on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10. He was the main celebrant of the Mass and concelebrants included Father Peter Purpura, cathedral rector, and Father Raphael Munday Kukana.
