Angela Scannapieco, 61, one of two consecrated virgins in the diocese, died Saturday, March 2.

Scannapieco was an employee of Divine Mercy parish, Greenpoint. In 2001, she was conscerated as a virgin at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 5 at St. Cecilia’s Church, Greenpoint, a worship site of Divine Mercy parish.
