A Victorian Christmas

Dear Editor: I have attended a Epiphany concert at our Lady of the Snows in Floral Park on Sunday January 6th at 3 p.m. I found it to be a most profound experience. It was billed with the title, “A Victorian Christmas.”

They had adult and children choirs and a bell choir. They also had instruments playing olden times Christmas music with a harp, violin, a flute, piano and organ to enhance the religious experience. What made this even better was the choir was also dressed in 1800s garments of the Victorian period. Many people I spoke to said this was a most rewarding spiritual experience.

I would like to thank the Rev. Kevin McBrien and the music director Lisa Kelly for such a great concert.
