Scholastic and DMCA Deliver Sweet Dreams

In conjunction with Scholastic Inc., the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, students from Divine Mercy Catholic Academy in Ozone Park collected more than 100 pairs of pajamas for children in shelters this winter. Scholastic donated a book to go with each set of pajamas. Above, DMCA Student Council members and their moderator, Helen Langone, display some of the pajamas that were collected. Pajamas will be distributed to children through Nazaire’s United-Family and Children Exceptional Support Association in Queens. (Photo courtesy Divine Mercy Catholic Academy)
