As The Tablet went to press, it was learned that Father Louis D. Aufiero, who lived at Queen of Peace Residence, Queens Village, died on May 24. Father Aufiero would have celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination on May 29.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1, at Queen of Peace Residence. Viewing is Saturday and Sunday, May 30-31 at Queen of Peace Residence. Full obituary next week.
