Chicago was his third marathon in less than a year to go along with the N.Y.C. and Boston marathons.

He began running marathons to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity in thanksgiving for all the assistance the organization provided to Breezy Point in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
