In their inaugural season in the borough of Kings, the Brooklyn Nets have earned a playoff berth.
The team finished the NBA regular season 49-33, which is the best record since the 2006-2007 season.
The Nets finished in the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference and will take on the No. 5 seeded Chicago Bulls in the first round of the payoffs.
Game 1 tips off at Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 20. It will be the first playoff game in Brooklyn since Oct. 10, 1956 when the Brooklyn Dodgers fell in Game 7 of the World Series to the New York Yankees at Ebbets Field.
