Only in Print: Students Rally in Prayer to Blessed Mother | November 9, 2019

Even at a relatively young age, Maya Wierciszewski, an eighth-grader at Notre Dame Catholic Academy, Ridgewood, realizes the importance of praying the rosary for the unborn.

“It is very important because we have a life given by God, and every day there is someone given a life through birth,” Wierciszewski said Oct. 30 during a rosary rally at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph, Prospect Heights.

“It’s very important to recognize that we are here for a reason and to love God. We are here to honor and respect the life we were given,” she said.

The rosary rally, which is held every year, included students from 12 Catholic schools…
