Parishes in the Brooklyn deanery of Sunset Park conducted their annual Good Friday Way of the Cross through the streets of the neighborhood. The procession began in front of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Windsor Terrace. The annual event was sponsored by Holy Family-St. Thomas Aquinas, Holy Name, St. John the Evangelist-St. Rocco’s, St. Michael’s, and Our Lady of Czestochowa. Leading the walk were Auxiliary Bishop James Massa, pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas; Father Kevin Sweeney, pastor of St. Michael’s, and Father Larry Ryan, pastor of Holy Name. (Photos Ed Wilkinson)
