The 56th Friday Film Festival, presented by Father Robert Lauder and the diocesan Secretariat for Evangelization and Catechesis, is now underway at the Immaculate Conception Pastoral Center in Douglaston.
The upcoming schedule includes:
March 15 – Win Wenders’ “Pope Francis – A Man of His Word” (2018)
March 22 – Bonnie Hunt’s “Return to Me,” starring David Duchovny, Minnie Driver and Carroll O’Connor (2000)
March 29 – James Ivory’s “The Remains of the Day,” starring Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson and Christopher Reeve (1993)
April 12 – Michael Gracey’s “The Greatest Showman,” starring Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams (2017)
April 26 – Charles Williams’ “Easter Parade,” starring Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Ann Miller and Peter Lawford (1948)
Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. The suggested donation is $6 for each film. All tickets may be obtained at the door.
