Dear Editor: There is something very unsettling about the immigrants caravans. The children on them are subjected to unhealthy conditions and are not screened to see if they have proper immunizations. Someone is underwriting the expenses of these caravans.

Why are Catholic Church members supporting them when the most basic of health and sanitary conditions are not being met? These underwriters should not be permitted to transport people without attending to health protections for children. Seems shocking to me.
