Calvary Hospital will host its 28th annual Living with Cancer Conference at its Bronx campus on Saturday, July 28, from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This free conference is for people who are living with cancer, their families, friends, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
Attendees will receive information and practical tips to help themselves and others confront the day-to-day challenges of living with cancer.
Key topics include current and future trends in oncology, legal issues, managing pain and symptoms, spirituality and coping, good nutrition, supportive and palliative care, yoga and meditation and fitness and wellness after treatment.
There will be reflections shared by survivors and keynote speakers who will share personal experiences with cancer, highlighting what was and is helpful in their journeys.
