Holy Cross HS Hires First Dean of Women for Fall Class

In anticipation of admitting young women as first-year students in the fall of 2018, Holy Cross H.S. in Flushing has hired Keri-Ann Wade-Donohue as the assistant principal, dean of women.

Wade-Donohue brings to this newly created position over 18 years of experience as a seventh through 12th grade educator and administrator.

For the past 16 years, she has been teaching and in leadership roles at St. Agnes Academic H.S., College Point.

Edward Burns, principal of Holy Cross said, “We are delighted to welcome Keri-Ann to this new leadership position. She brings with her significant experience in helping to guide young women to great success.

“An additional benefit to Holy Cross is that she knows the community well since her husband, Michael, serves Holy Cross as its Chair of the English Department.”

Wade-Donohue holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Queens College and master’s degree in secondary education from Molloy College.
