This Oct. 17 would have been the 100th birthday of Msgr. William Burke. To mark the event, St. Camillus Church, Rockaway Park will celebrate a special Mass on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. Priests and deacons are invited to vest for the Mass.

The Rockaway/Msgr. Burke Council of the Knights of Columbus will dedicate a plaque in church. A luncheon will follow.

Msgr. Burke’s family has been invited, along with alumni of St. Camillus School and members of the St. Camillus Band, which Msgr. Burke directed. All are welcome. For reservations, call 718-634-8229.
