A memorial Mass for Father Thomas P. Maloney, a priest of the Rockville Centre Diocese, will be celebrated June 8 at St. Joseph’s Church, Babylon, L.I.

He died March 7 in Florida at the age of 72.

Born in Far Rockaway, he was ordained a priest May 30, 1970.

In addition to his parish assignments, he also served the people of El Cercado in the Dominican Republic, from 1984 to 1991.

After his retirement, he moved to Florida and became a resident of Lourdes Noreen McKeen in 2010.
