JAN. 24-27 – Attends World Youth  Day in Panama 

FEB. 15 – Releases a list of 108  priests who were credibly accused  of sexual abuse of a minor 

MARCH 24 – Rededicates Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Williamsburg

APRIL 18 – Celebrates Holy Thursday mass including Washing of the Feet of victim-survivor of clergy sexual abuse 

APRIL 30 – Celebrates fifth Mass of Hope and Healing 

JUNE 16 – Turns 75 and submits resignation to the Vatican, to be  accepted at the Pope’s discretion

JUNE 18 – Presides at Vespers in  Douglaston to mark the end of diocesan investigation into the cause for  Msgr. Quinn. 

OCT. 3 – Appointed by the Holy See to conduct Apostolic Visitation of the Diocese of Buffalo 

OCT. 6 – Leads Mass & procession calling for the construction of a public statue recognizing Mother Cabrini 

OCT. 31 – Concludes Apostolic Visitation of the Diocese of Buffalo
