Memorial Day in Bay Ridge

The 151st annual Memorial Day Parade in Bay Ridge drew larger crowds and reported more participants than recent years. Father Stephen Saffron, parochial vicar at St. Anselm’s parish, was on the float of the Kings County Catholic War Veterans.
Grand Marshal, Lieut. Gen. Robert L. Caslen, superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, accompanied by chaplains, including Father (Colonel) Edward R.P. Kane, and Rabbi (Colonel) Jacob Goldstein.
