Nothing can keep the Golden Age Club at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Forest Hills, away from a celebration. Even with the nasty snow that turned into a cold and slushy rain on Feb. 7, more than 40 people came out to the parish hall to celebrate Mardi Gras. Beads and glittery masks were as plentiful as the smiling faces behind them.
