In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, New York Times best-selling author Regina Calcaterra will join the Monica Ministries of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Williamsburg, for a book-signing event featuring her autobiographical account, “Etched in Sand,” this Sunday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Admission is gratis. Calcaterra’s book will be on sale for $15.99. Light refreshments will be served.

This Sunday, Auxiliary Bishop Octavio Cisneros will join the faithful of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Corona as the parish celebrates its 50th anniversary in service to God’s people. Bishop Cisneros will be the main celebrant of the 4 p.m. Mass. All are welcome.

Pumpkin picking, a petting zoo, games and face painting were among the activities youngsters enjoyed at the annual Harvest Festival on the campus of Christ the King (CK), Middle Village.
