Last month, two diocesan parishes of Our Lady of Grace came together for the “OLG to OLG Barbara Dattilo Memorial Youth Concert,” which featured the 35-member youth choir from Our Lady of Grace, Howard Beach, singing at Our Lady of Grace, Gravesend. All proceeds benefitted the youth ministry programs at the two parishes, and the Barbara Dattilo Scholarship Fund. The concert featured sacred selections as well as Broadway and popular music. One highlight was a rendition of “Brooklyn’s Here” from Broadway’s Newsies, which the boys performed complete with The Tablet newspapers in hand. (Photo courtesy Steven Eriquez)
