Information Sessions for the Permanent Diaconate

The deacon is a man of faith called by the Church to serve God and God’s people as an official representative of the Church in service to others.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Diaconate Formation Program’s admissions process, speak to your pastor and attend one of the following sessions:

  • Saturday, Jan. 16, 10 a.m. to noon at Immaculate Conception Center – Room B – 7200 Douglaston Pkwy., Douglaston.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 19, 7 – 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Angels – Cavanagh Room – Bay Ridge.
  • Thursday, Jan. 21, 7:30 – 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Institute, 23-20 Newtown Ave., Astoria.
  • Wednesday, Jan. 27, 7 – 9 p.m. at St. Martin of Tours Parish Hall, 1288 Hancock St., Bushwick.
  • Saturday, Jan. 30, 10 a.m. to noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Academy Cafeteria, Woodhaven.
