Three men who are studying outside the diocese were ordained transitional deacons by Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chappetto on May 30.
2015 Deacon Ordinations
Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio ordained 19 men to the permanent diaconate on Saturday, May 23, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Prospect Heights.
Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chappetto ordained three men as transitional deacons on Saturday, May 30, at St. James Cathedral-Basilica in Downtown Brooklyn. As transitional deacons, they are scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Brooklyn next spring.
